This year Scheidt & Bachmann celebrates its 150th anniversary. For this occasion, among other things, a worldwide celebration for the employees took place in May.
For this purpose, the employee parking lot at the headquarters in Mönchengladbach was transformed into a festival area. There were various attractions for the employees: food trucks with sweet and savory offerings, a pallet lounge, and an activity court with giant foosball, mini golf, and darts. A large marquee provided space for the site's approximately 1,500 employees. The ceremony, which was broadcasted live to the company's subsidiaries around the world, also took place there. Dr. Norbert Miller, chairman of the board of management, gave a speech and saluted the subsidiaries around the world, as they were also celebrating. Whether in a restaurant, a hotel or a festival hall, whether with team building, performances by artists or good food – each company location organized their own celebration of the 150th anniversary of Scheidt & Bachmann.
