Separate collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment
We would like to point out that electrical and electronic equipment may not be disposed of with household waste at the end of its service life. Owners of waste electrical and electronic equipment must dispose of it separately from unsorted municipal waste.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries
You must separate used batteries and accumulators that are not enclosed in the waste electrical and electronic equipment from the latter before handing them in at a collection point.
Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of in household waste. As the end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries and accumulators. Used batteries may contain harmful substances that can damage the environment and health if stored or disposed of improperly. Particular care must be taken when handling batteries containing lithium due to the special risks involved. The separate collection and recycling of old batteries and accumulators is intended to avoid negative effects on the environment and health. However, spent batteries also contain important raw materials, such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel, and can be recycled. You can either send used batteries back to us or return them free of charge in the immediate vicinity, e.g. to the municipal collection points).

Personal data

Meaning of the "crossed-out dustbin" symbol
The symbol shown on the appliances and batteries/accumulators indicates that the respective equipment or battery/accumulator may not be disposed of with household waste at the end of its service life, but must be collected separately.
In the case of batteries and accumulators, the chemical designation of the corresponding pollutants is located under the symbol of the crossed-out dustbin. Examples are:
Pb = battery/accumulator contains lead
Cd = battery contains cadmium
Hg = battery contains mercury.
