Our parking guidance systems reduce the number of cars looking for a space and therefore significantly reduce fuel consumption, while our fare collection systems make sure that people can conveniently and easily use public transport. Our signalling systems and the signal box technology are basic prerequisites for energy efficient rail transport.

We see our corporate focus in the development of innovative products that promote global mobility through distinctive safety, reliability and durability. To this end, our Signalling Systems, Parking Solutions, Fare Collection Systems and Fuel Retail Solutions business units continuously promote the development of new solutions in their respective industries.
Sustainable Development Goals
As a group of companies, we are committed to continuously improving our sustainability performance. The 17 international Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide global guidance for change towards a better world. We want to be guided by these and reliably contribute to achieving these goals by 2030. We also promote sustainable action by all employees through training, information and the individual role model function of our managers.
In order to continuously improve, we have our environmental, social and governance sustainability performance assessed by EcoVadis. EcoVadis is the world's leading provider of sustainability ratings. In the 2023 assessment of Scheidt & Bachmann GmbH site Mönchengladbach, we were awarded the silver medal and thus belong to the top 25 % of companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide. The extension of the scope to other parts of the group of companies will follow.
