For each occupational group and area, we create onboarding documents that are individually tailored to you. These consist of an onboarding plan, an appointment list for meetings, a site plan, an overview with contact details for your future colleagues, and a detailed company guide. You will also receive access to our employee app "swap," where you will also find all the important information and through which you can already get in touch with your new colleagues. In addition, we will inform you at a "Welcome Day" and provide you with a mentor to answer any questions you may have.
We provide a mentor from among our colleagues for all newly hired employees. In the first few weeks, the mentor will be available to answer your questions, for example if you are looking for a contact person for a specific topic or if you are not familiar with the company premises. Furthermore, the colleagues in Human Resources are always happy to answer any questions you may have.
We regularly take part in school and university fairs, e.g. at secondary schools in Mönchengladbach as well as at RWTH Aachen University or the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Mönchengladbach and Krefeld. We also offer an annual "Training Day". Of course, you are always welcome to contact our HR department by phone or e-mail.
Private pension provision is becoming increasingly important alongside statutory pension insurance. We are aware of this responsibility. We offer our employees who are entitled to the employer's contribution to retirement benefits an employer-financed pension plan in the form of a direct insurance policy. You are welcome to attend regular consultation appointments at our company.
The further training of our employees is an important concern for us. Our training program therefore includes a variety of training courses that are needs-oriented and multi-faceted. They are aimed at both specialists and managers. Language courses are also part of the portfolio.
We recruit our managers both on the open applicant market and from our own ranks. At Scheidt & Bachmann, some have already made a career from apprenticeship to studies to management level - nothing is impossible. In our management forum, we offer further training specifically for management positions, so that you are also optimally prepared internally for your role as a manager.
