On 24 March 2022, Heinz-Josef Eßer, Head of Technical Training at Scheidt & Bachmann, spoke as an expert at a virtual exchange with Ghanaian representatives of the vocational training system. He described the experiences and perspectives of dual training from the perspective of a company that has extensive experience in this field.
The exchange was organised by GOVET (German Office for international Cooperation in Vocational Education and Training) as part of a consultation process that has been ongoing for more than two years. In addition to the moderated exchange of experts, the 26 participants had the opportunity to ask Heinz-Josef Eßer questions about the implementation of the dual training system. The aim of the meeting was to support the Ghanaian representatives with the experience of Scheidt & Bachmann in planning a dual training system in Ghana.
