- Human-Resources

In 2016, around 75,000 young people completed their vocational training in 130 IHK professions in North Rhine-Westphalia. 265 of them finished with the grade "very good" and are among the best in the most highly populated German state. Three of them are our employees Tobias Wiedenfeld, Florian Wellens and Dominik Prell.

Their excellent performance increased the number of top graduates which were trained at Scheidt & Bachmann to 42.

The 16 Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHKs) honoured the outstanding achievements with a tribute of the top graduates in the Tonhalle Düsseldorf. In front of more than 1,000 guests, IHK President Professor Dr. Ulrich Lehner awarded the alumni with the following words: "As the best of the best, you show that professional training creates outstanding achievement."

The speech was held by NRW's Minister of Economic Affairs, Garrelt Duin. He emphasized the performance of the top graduates as follows: "With their excellent qualifications, the top graduates have proven to be the future performers in the industry. As highly qualified, competent and dedicated specialists, they are being precisely sought in the course of advancing digitization. "
